JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITY:

• The Resident Technical Officer represents clients on the construction site.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and details of projects.
• Ensure that construction projects follow contracts and regulations.
• Inspect materials and workmanship.
• Perform tests to check the quality of materials.
• Prepare progress reports for their clients.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma / ITC (Higher NITEC/NTC-2 NITEC) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry(BCSS) Cert is required.
• Preferably registered as a Resident Technical Officer accredited by IES/ACES.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building services in the supervision of commercial/ institutional development with strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical services and local construction practices.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel for project update and reports.
• Familiar with local codes & regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• 12 Months Contract
