Job Summary Augusta Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and compassionate team member to join our Environmental Services team. This position combines resident transportation, housekeeping, and laundry services, with a primary focus on safely transporting residents to appointments and activities as scheduled. On days when transportation needs are lighter, this role supports overall facility operations through environmental services duties. This is an active, hands-on position in a long-term care setting where flexibility and teamwork are essential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely transport residents to and from appointments, outings, and activities Assist residents entering and exiting vehicles while ensuring safety and dignity Maintain cleanliness and readiness of transport vehicles Perform housekeeping duties including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas Complete laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly Job Expectations Resident transportation is a regular and essential function of this role when scheduled Work responsibilities will vary between transport duties and environmental services tasks Must be flexible and willing to support team needs across departments Qualifications Valid Wisconsin Driver's License (required) Clean driving record (required) Ability and willingness to transport residents as part of job duties Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers Ability to work in an active, fast-paced healthcare environment Preferred Experience Experience transporting patients or residents Housekeeping or custodial experience in healthcare or hospitality Familiarity with infection control practices Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Retirement plan options Supportive team environment Stable full-time employment in a modern facility Equal Opportunity Employer Augusta Health and Rehabilitation is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to providing a respectful and inclusive workplace.
