**Now Offering DailyPay** Overview The Resident Transportation Associate - Driver operates community-owned vehicles to provide authorized transportation for residents, primarily to medical appointments, in a safe, comfortable and timely manner. Your expertise will enhance the transportation for our residents by providing the safest, most efficient transport service for our community. Job Types: Part-Time 15-20 hours per week, the position is primarily 1st shift however occasional evenings and weekends as needed Shift: 1st shift Responsibilities: Operates cars and/or passenger vans to safely transport residents, primarily to medical appointments. Inspects and cleans vehicles. Interacts positively with residents, family members, visitors, and other partners under a variety of conditions and circumstances. Replenishes fuel in vehicles after use. Maintains vehicles in excellent working condition and ensures preventative maintenance is up to date. Performs routine clean-up operations in the transportation building. Assists with building maintenance work orders as assigned. Assists with grounds duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED. Licensure/Certification: Valid Ohio Driver’s License. CDL is NOT required. Experience: Three years driving experience with a good driving record required. Prior healthcare experience is a plus. Skills: Ability to complete pre-trip inspection of vehicle. Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with residents and other partners required.
