About the role
This is a rewarding, full-time permanent position as part of the Customer Quality Assurance team in Senior Services as a Residential Aged Care Specialist. In this role, you’ll be a critical member of the Uniting team, supporting strategic support to Residential services where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring services provide robust quality assurance systems and frameworks that meet not only regulatory standards but also uphold excellence, spearhead continuous improvement and ensure quality outcomes for older Australians. This role will collaborate closely with the Operations Support and Service Delivery teams and internal stakeholders across various domains.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Sound working knowledge of Residential Aged Care
  • Substantial experience in quality assurance, audit processes and compliance
  • Maintain current knowledge of evolving changes and trends within the aged care industry
  • Foster strong partnerships with essential stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Support the establishment and embedding of quality frameworks, including monitoring and data analysis.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices related to the area of specialisation.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Monitor audits accreditation and compliance performance across all operations, to ensure that services and processes comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Lead effective reviews of programs, processes, and systems to implement improvement initiatives aligned with best practices and the Senior Services Operating Model principles.
