Job Details Job Location: 976 Norwich Turnpike Cochegan - Uncasville, CT Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School/GED Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly Job Shift: Second Shift Job Category: Residential Aide Description Position: Residential Aide Program: Cochegan House Location: Uncasville Salary: $20.00/hour Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, Sunday-Thursday 3p-11p Program Summary: Cochegan House is a residential work release program providing case management, job readiness, and substance and mental health education to adult males who are under the supervision of DOC so they can successfully reenter their communities and avoid committing new offenses. Position Summary: The Residential Aide is responsible for direct client care. This includes activities of daily living and providing support for safety, health, and wellness. This position also assists program staff. The ideal candidate will establish, develop, and maintain respectful relationships with the people served. The Residential Aide will participate in maintaining a safe, harm-free environment for all residents. Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community. Requirements: High School Diploma / GED 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent Valid Connecticut Driver’s License Orientation: If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
