Job Details Job Location: LaBella Campus - Middletown, CT Position Type: Part Time Education Level: High School/GED Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly Job Shift: Third Shift Job Category: Residential Aide Description Position: Residential Aide Program: Eddy Center Location: Middletown Salary: $20.00/hour Schedule: Part time, 20 hours, 3rd shift, Saturday-Sunday (10-8a) Program Summary: The Eddy Center is a residential housing program that provides individualized treatment services, substance use and mental health education, and job preparation to adult males who are under DOC's supervision so they can successfully re-enter their communities and avoid re-offending. Position Summary: The Residential Aide is responsible for direct client care. This includes activities of daily living and providing support for safety, health, and wellness. This position also assists program staff. The ideal candidate will establish, develop, and maintain respectful relationships with the people served. The Residential Aide will participate in maintaining a safe, harm-free environment for all residents. Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community. Requirements: High School Diploma / GED 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent Valid Connecticut Driver’s License Orientation: If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
