Job Details Job Location: 984 Norwich Turnpike JC - Uncasville, CT Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School/GED Salary Range: $19.00 - $19.00 Hourly Job Shift: Second Shift Job Category: Residential Aide Description Position: Residential Aide Program: January Center Location: Uncasville Salary: $19.00/hour Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday (3p-11p) & 1st shift, Friday (7a-3p) Program Summary: The January Center is a residential treatment program, providing case management, supervision, support and psycho-educational treatment services for adult men with problem sexual behaviors that are involved in the criminal justice system. These services are to help educate the individuals on how to manage their problematic behavior. Position Summary: The Residential Aide is responsible for direct client care. This includes activities of daily living and providing support for safety, health, and wellness. This position also assists program staff. The ideal candidate will establish, develop, and maintain respectful relationships with the people served. The Residential Aide will participate in maintaining a safe, harm-free environment for all residents. Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community. Requirements: High School Diploma / GED 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent Valid Connecticut Driver’s License Orientation: If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
