Job Details Job Location: 984 Norwich Turnpike JC - Uncasville, CT Position Type: Part Time Education Level: High School/GED Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly Job Shift: Third Shift Job Category: Residential Aide Description Position: Residential Aide Program: January Center Location: Uncasville Salary: $20.00/hour Schedule: Part Time, 8 hours, Friday, 3rd shift 11pm-7am Program Summary: The January Center is a residential treatment program that supports adult men with problem sexual behaviors who are re-entering the community after a period of incarceration. Position Summary: The Residential Aide is responsible for direct client care including supporting the completion of activities of daily living and ensuring safety. The ideal candidate will believe in an individual's capacity to change and demonstrate respectful and appropriate boundaries with clients. Regular and predictable attendance is expected. Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide works with Community Justice program staff to help support clients in successful community re-entry. Requirements: High School Diploma / GED 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent Valid Connecticut Driver’s License Orientation: If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
