JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio-visual systems, low voltage wiring, and electrical troubleshooting. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team to ensure the successful installation, maintenance, and repair of audio-visual equipment in various settings. The Audio Visual Technician will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality technical support for service and installations.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Founded in 2011, HTE Innovations is a leader in the integrated residential technology market, Audio, Video, Lighting, Networking, WiFi, Shading, Electrical and Security.
We are looking for an experienced Residential AV Service / Installation Technician to help us with installation and servicing of a variety of technology projects.
Candidate for AV Service / Installation Technician must be able to: work with all necessary tools for any potential job and possess a high level of expertise on various electronic and mechanical systems. Technician will be communicating with customers and trade partners, such as instructing them on the handling of the devices in question and coordinating service or installation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be self-motivated, positive and convey a professional image
  • Must promote the company culture to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
  • Must be able to travel within the coverage area as needed.
    · An experienced Commercial AV Tech will be familiar with the following AV technologies:
    · Audio systems
    · Networked AV Systems
    · AV Automated Systems, Control Systems. Control4 & Lutron.
    · Networking and WiFi

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum 3 years Residential AV experience.
  • Must possess proven problem-solving & critical thinking skills.
  • Valid Driver’s license (no points or at-fault accidents)

Knowledge in any of the below mentioned areas or products: Control4, Lutron, Lutron Shading, Ketra, Sonos, Networking and WiFi, Ubiquiti, IP Cameras, OvRC, and Advanced Networking skills are a plus. Advanced knowledge and certification in Control4 software and Lutron programming software etc. Certificates in any of these are a HUGE PLUS.

Responsibilities
