Job Title: Residential Care Home Manager (RMA/NVQ 5 Required)
Location: London N12
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Residential Care Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care home, ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elderly care, medication management, and CQC compliance, with the ability to lead a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the care home’s daily operations, ensuring compliance with CQC standards.
• Lead, train, and supervise care staff to deliver person-centered care in line with individual care plans.
• Oversee medication rounds and ensure accurate record-keeping in accordance with policies.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and staff appraisals to maintain high-quality care.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Ensure the home meets all health & safety, safeguarding, and infection control requirements.
• Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and resources efficiently.
  

  Essential Requirements:

✅ 3+ years’ experience as a Registered Care Home Manager (elderly care setting preferred).
✅ RMA / NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (completed or enrolled).
✅ Proven experience in medication administration and care planning.
✅ Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures.
✅ Ability to work independently and lead a team with minimal supervision.
✅ Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working in a nursing home or dementia care environment.

• Background as a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) is a plus but not mandatory.
