JOB OVERVIEW

The Residential Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of a residential facility, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all residents. This position requires a compassionate leader who can effectively manage staff, coordinate care plans, and communicate with families and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.
  • A valid driving licence is essential for transporting residents when required.

    Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the needs of each resident.
  • Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care to residents.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with families, staff, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for residents.
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the residential setting.
  • Organise recreational activities and programmes that promote social interaction and personal development among residents.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to the operation of the facility, including record keeping and reporting.
  • Drive residents to appointments or activities as needed, ensuring their safety during transport.
