ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Residential Care Officer with strong leadership qualities to join our team. You will take an active role in fostering a positive, respectful environment where residents feel valued and safe. Your responsibilities will include supporting residents with daily living tasks, promoting their independence, and monitoring their wellbeing, while also guiding and supporting team members to uphold care standards.
Effective communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills are essential, as you will liaise with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and management. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, participate in staff training, and ensure compliance with all organizational policies, NDIS guidelines, and safety regulations.
This role may require working flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, to maintain the highest level of care for our residents.
