About the role

As a Residential Care Officer, you will provide person-centred care and support to residents with their daily activities, personal care, wellbeing and community participation.

Key responsibilities

• Providing personal care and daily living support
• Assisting with showering, dressing, grooming and hygiene
• Supporting residents with meals and meal preparation
• Assisting with mobility and transfers as required
• Supporting residents to participate in social and recreational activities
• Encouraging independence, choice and community participation
• Following individual care and support plans
• Supporting residents with their routines and daily needs
• Maintaining accurate shift notes and documentation
• Reporting incidents, changes in behaviour or wellbeing appropriately
