TEAM LEADER – CHILDREN’S RESIDENTIAL HOME

Location: Ramsgate, Kent
Hours: Full-Time | 40 hours per week | Varied shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, bank and public holidays)
Salary: £33,540 – £36,400 per year (depending on number of sleep-in shifts)
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and caring Children’s Home Team Leader to join our team in Ramsgate. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, supporting the management team with the day-to-day running of the home while ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
As a Team Leader, you’ll be part of a passionate residential care team, working together to create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for the young people we support. Our goal is to help them build independence, develop life skills, and prepare for the future with confidence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a warm, safe, and supportive environment for residents
  • Leading and guiding care staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care
  • Contributing to care plans, records, and reports
  • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements

About You

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, resilient, and genuinely committed to helping young people thrive. To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Residential Care (Ofsted requirement)
  • Have proven experience working with children and young people in an Ofsted-regulated home
  • Be dedicated to delivering outstanding, person-centred care
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid DBS Certificate
