Overview SA Health is seeking compassionate and reliable Casual Direct Care Workers – Residential to join the team at Cleve MPS. In this role, you will support residents of the Residential Care Home with daily care, comfort, dignity, and wellbeing as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. About the role You will provide direct care to residents in a residential aged care setting, helping with personal care, mobility, hygiene, grooming, toileting, laundry, environment care, and other day-to-day support tasks. The role also involves completing routine documentation, contributing observations, assisting with diversional therapy, and supporting safe, person-centred care. Key duties * Deliver respectful, compassionate care to residents in line with their individual needs. * Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility support, and transfer assistance. * Support residents with communication aids, hearing aids, glasses, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. * Assist with routine treatments, self-administration of medication under direction, and general resident support. * Complete documentation, record observations, and contribute to resident assessment and care planning. * Work effectively within a team and maintain confidentiality and professional standards. What we’re looking for * Experience providing direct care in a health, aged care, disability, or similar setting. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team. * Ability to work under supervision, use initiative, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality. * Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
