Description

Hopscotch Care is looking to recruit a Deputy Manager for one of our homes. You will have some leadership experience and have the ability to provide guidance and instruction to a small staff team who look after young people from the age of 8-18. This is a rewarding environment and we look to appoint someone who is hardworking, organised and understands the needs of young people in our care and can coordinate a variable workload with the ability to prioritise and deliver all requirements of the job description. You will be required to work shifts and be involved in an on-call rota.
Our company aim is from the initial commissioning of the placement to the day of leaving the intention is to provide the very highest quality environment and support necessary to maximise the chances of successful outcomes for the young person.

Responsibilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Be responsible for the running of the home.
· Supporting the staff and young people.
· Competent at all aspects of paperwork
· Confident at dealing with external agencies.
· Be able to organise staffing levels as required.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
· Qualified at NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Residential Child Care or equivalent.
· Looking to make a difference.
· Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts over a 7 day period.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.10 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
