We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Residential Childcare Workers (RCWs) in our therapeutic children’s homes. In this role, you will provide day-to-day support, guidance, and care to children and young people who have experienced trauma and may have additional needs.
*Salary Range: £30,142.00 - £31,702.00 per annum. This salary is inclusive of seven sleep-in payments per month. Sleep-ins are remunerated at £55.00 per night, with employees able to undertake up to 10 sleep-ins per month. The stated salary is for full-time positions and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working with children and young people, ideally in a residential setting.
  • A strong understanding of child development and the impact of trauma on children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and caring approach to supporting children and young people.
  • The ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.

  • Supporting the physical, emotional, and social development of children and young people in the home.
  • Creating a safe and supportive environment for children and young people.
  • Providing practical and emotional support to children and young people, including daily routines and medical appointments.
  • Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to provide a holistic support system for our young people.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic records and documentation.
