In Norfolk we have exciting and ambitious plans to enhance the way we work with young people, Norfolk Residential Children’s Homes provide emergency and time limited, specialist care for young people (male and female) aged between 8 - 17 years, when either family, foster care, mainstream residential or other community-based placements are not possible or desirable at the time.  This new ‘In Reach Team’ will work across our service to ensure that there are no shortfalls in staffing, the team will be managed centrally in Norwich but will cover all of our in-house children’s homes and be able to offer bespoke care packages as and when the service requires. Staff will be expected to react to service needs and their working days may vary from home to home.  A full driving license and daily access to a vehicle are required for this role. You will be joining a highly motivated and enthusiastic service who endeavour to make significant changes in young people’s lives. Ideally you will have a background in residential care or be experienced in working with children. You will be required to have good levels of literacy and numeracy and hold an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or similar qualification.   To work within this environment, you will need to be committed to making a difference in the lives of young people.
