This is a key role ensuring the property portfolio meets all relevant regulatory and statutory compliance standards. REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Relevant experience in block management
  • Strong knowledge of property compliance regulations, including health & safety, fire safety, and building regulations
  • Experience within the PBSA (Purpose-Built Student Accommodation) sector (preferred)
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing compliance standards across multiple regulatory areas, including:

  • Building Safety Act and High-Risk Buildings regulations
  • Health & Safety and Fire Safety
  • Asbestos management
  • Gas and Electrical safety
  • Environmental regulations

You will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain a safe and legally compliant property estate. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Conducting inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Monitoring contractor performance to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Keeping up-to-date records of compliance documentation
  • Providing expert advice on regulatory changes and their impact on property management
