JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Job Site Assistant to join our team and support our custom home construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in various construction tasks, thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys hands-on work, and is eager to learn the ins and outs of construction operations.
As a Job Site Assistant, you will report to the Construction Manager and be responsible for communicating and coordinating with the assigned Project Managers to ensure project tasks are completed in a timely and accurate fashion that aligns with our core values.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor
  • Organize materials and tools as required
  • Operate hand and power tools of all types
  • Assist with the setup and cleanup of projects
  • Follow instructions from supervisors to perform duties
  • Coordinate and communicate with tradespeople and subcontractors
  • Help maintain project timelines by coordinating deliveries and inspections
  • Perform basic carpentry, demolition, and other tasks under the supervision of the Project Manager
  • Adhere to safety codes as per the occupational health and safety guidelines, monitor site safety, and report hazards

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a skilled laborer
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Knowledge of basic construction techniques and safety regulations
  • Strong work ethic, communication skills, and ability to work well in a team
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
