Description

LOCATION: LYMINGTON | HYBRID WORKING AVAILABLE

A well-regarded Legal 500 law firm with a strong reputation in the South East is seeking an experienced Residential Property Associate to join their Lymington-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled lawyer looking to develop their career within a supportive and high-performing environment.
About the Client:
Our client is a modern, progressive law firm known for putting people first, both clients and colleagues. They are consistently recognised in leading legal directories and national rankings, with particular distinction in residential property law. With multiple offices across the South East and London, they offer both local grounding and regional reach, supported by a team of over 280 lawyers.
This role sits within a highly regarded Residential Property team that works on a broad range of high-value and complex property transactions. From listed buildings to tight turnaround times and intricate financial arrangements, the team are trusted advisors to a loyal client base that includes multiple generations of families and high-net-worth individuals.
The Role:
The incoming Associate will manage their own caseload of complex residential property matters, acting as a key point of contact for clients and helping to deliver a high-quality, responsive service. You will be supported in developing your technical expertise and encouraged to contribute to wider business development initiatives as the team continues to grow.

Responsibilities
  • Running a varied caseload of high-value residential property transactions
  • Building strong relationships with clients and referrers
  • Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to team development
  • Engaging in business development and marketing initiatives
  • Maintaining high standards of client service and legal advice

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE is a guideline, not a requirement)
  • Proven experience handling complex or high-net-worth residential property transactions
  • A client-focused, personable, and pragmatic approach
  • Interest in mentoring or supporting junior team members (experience not essential)
  • Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
  • A proactive attitude toward career development and business growth

What’s On Offer:

  • A clear path to Senior Associate level, with ongoing support and development
  • Exposure to high-quality work with affluent and long-standing clients
  • A positive, human-first culture that values both wellbeing and performance
  • Flexible hybrid working and a collaborative, inclusive office environment

If you’re a residential property lawyer ready for the next step in your career, and looking to join a forward-thinking team in a picturesque coastal location, we’d love to hear from you.
