JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Conveyancer to join our team in handling property transactions. The ideal candidate will have previous conveyancing experience with a thorough understanding of residential property law and a proven track record in managing all aspects of the conveyancing process. This role requires a detailed oriented individual with excellent communication skills.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience as a Residential Conveyancer is essential with at least 3 years experience handling your own handling being essential.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in IT systems relevant to conveyancing processes
  • Exceptional organisational abilities to manage multiple cases simultaneously
    Professional qualification as a Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEX) is preferred but not essential.
    Salary from £35,000 and is dependent on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Managing residential property transactions from inception to completion.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, and estate agents to provide regular updates to all
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents and ensuring the case management system is updated
  • Conducting property searches and enquiries, submitting Land Registry applications and SDLT returns, carrying out AML checks and checking proof of funds.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
  • Handling financial aspects of property transactions
