REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with around 5 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing.
• Proven ability to independently manage a full caseload of residential property matters.
• Excellent organisational and file management skills.
• Strong client care and communication skills.
• Experience using conveyancing case management systems (CMS) preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer or Fee Earner with approximately 5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our growing team in Redcar. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-established firm with a strong reputation in property law.
Due to continued growth, the successful candidate will assist in handling an expanding caseload of residential sales and purchases, managing files from instruction through to post-completion with minimal supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle a full and varied caseload of residential property transactions, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

• Transfers of equity
• Re-mortgages
• New build transactions
• Ensure smooth file progression from instruction to post-completion.
• Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors.
• Use case management systems to maintain accurate file records.
• Ensure all transactions comply with legal, regulatory, and professional standards.
