(12-MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF PERMANENT. START DATE; NOVEMBER 2025)

We are seeking a skilled full time Conveyancer to join our offices in Portsmouth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of residential property transactions, ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of property law.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Conveyancer within property law
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing property transactions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Proficiency in using conveyancing software and other relevant technology.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary

    Pay: From £30,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manage the conveyancing process from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring timely and accurate communication with all parties involved.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, including title investigations and searches to identify any potential issues.
  • Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage agreements.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Negotiate terms of sale or purchase on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and correspondence in accordance with company policies.
