Job Description

We’re looking for a highly motivated person to be a part of our growing team. The Design Studio Assistant position will be working closely with the Head Design Studio Coordinator to help execute the design plans for all of our homes. You will also work closely with project managers, sales reps, and our vendor partners to help ensure customer selections are clearly communicated and processed. There is also an opportunity for this position to be a customer facing role and take on portions of the design selections process. This position will focus on:

  • Sending new home owners preliminary information, tailored to meet customer specifications
  • Collaborate with clients and the Design Studio Coordinator to understand their design preferences and requirements
  • Maintaining product brochures for items such as appliances, plumbing, lighting, etc.
  • Help with vendor communication to assist customers and project managers with customer selections
  • Help maintaining internal pricing and model number documents
  • Working with the Design Studio Coordinator to create a design plan for model and spec homes
  • Assisting in model home furnishing and decorating concepts
  • Assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of the Design Studio and the product offerings
  • Desired Skills and Experience
  • A passion for design, new homes, and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent organizational and planning/scheduling abilities
  • Ability to effectively communicate w/ customers both written and during face to face meeting
  • Great attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • A great attitude and desire to show initiative
  • Candidates should possess strong computer skills in MS Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
