Position Available: Residential Disability Support Worker
Job Overview: At EIS, we are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Residential Disability Support Workers. In this role, you will collaborate with a network of caregiver professionals to provide essential care and support to adults with disabilities in a residential setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, implementing behavior management strategies, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6 to 18 months of experience in providing residential care to adults with disabilities.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques.
• Ability to de-escalate and respond proactively to behaviors of concern.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Working with persons with developmental disabilities: 1 year (preferred)

• Collaborate with other caregiver professionals within the individual support network.
• Foster trusting, positive relationships with residents.
• Assist with meal preparation and medication management.
• Support residents in participating in activities.
• Provide direct care and support in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Implement behavior management strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Uphold resident rights and promote a person-centered approach to care.
