JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role of a Residential EFL Trip Teacher is to immerse themself in the complete student experience, delivering English lessons in the mornings and accompanying students on half and full-day trips, providing set guided tours as part of their learning journey. This position goes beyond traditional teaching roles, focusing not only on educational responsibilities, but also playing a key part in the cultural development of students by supporting them as they explore the area. It is imperative to ensure the well-being and diligent supervision of students, adhering rigorously to company policies. The lessons must be meticulously conducted in strict accordance with our established policies, procedures and the high standards set forth by the British Council.
Requirements:
Academic-side responsibilities:
Show an awareness of the issues surrounding the teaching of English to young learners.Take immediate action (student complaints, damage reports) by reporting them to the Teaching Coordinator.
ACTIVITY-SIDE RESPONSIBILITIES:
ü Accompany and supervise the students while providing a guided tour on either:
ü Support the team with all other relevant tasks
ü Participate in activity team meetings when necessary.
