At Recovering Hope Treatment Center, we’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Residential Float Alcohol and Drug Counselor to join our dynamic clinical team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centered environment and wants to help individuals on their journey to recovery. What You’ll Do: Conduct comprehensive client assessments and complete GAIN-SS and Initial Service Plans. Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans with measurable goals. Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, including chemical dependency education. Maintain consistent communication with clinical leadership and relevant referral sources. Monitor client safety, assess vulnerabilities, and update Individual Abuse Prevention Plans as needed. Collaborate with clients, families, and support systems to create effective continuing care plans. Assist with administrative tasks such as documentation, referrals, and coordinating collateral contacts. Support team operations, including light housekeeping, kitchen duties, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Engage in ongoing professional development in substance use and co-occurring disorders. Requirements What We’re Looking For: Licensure by the State of Minnesota for Alcohol and Drug Counselor in good standing OR Temporary Permit through the State of Minnesota in good standing. Knowledge and understanding of the implications of chapter 245G, chapter 245A, and sections 626.556, 626.557, and 626.5572. Physical Requirements: Regular use of a computer and office equipment. Frequent communication and collaboration with staff, clients, and community partners. Ability to move around the residential setting as needed.
