ABOUT US:

We are a leading provider of energy-efficient home comfort solutions specializing in heat pump systems across the Greater Victoria Area. As demand for sustainable heating and cooling continues to grow, we are looking for a driven, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Residential Sales Representative to join our team and help homeowners find the right heat pump solutions for their homes.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Residential Sales Representative, you will be the first point of contact for homeowners exploring heat pump systems. You will be responsible for identifying customer needs, conducting in-home consultations, developing tailored proposals, and closing sales. This role combines technical understanding with strong interpersonal and sales skills.
You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely and manage your own schedule, with occasional evening appointments as needed to meet with clients. Compensation includes a base salary plus commission based on sales revenue.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record in residential or B2C sales (HVAC, home energy, or home improvement sales experience is a strong asset).
  • Working knowledge of heat pump systems or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a flexible, remote setting.
  • Comfortable with in-home visits and face-to-face client interactions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic computer applications.
  • Valid BC driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings based on customer availability.
Responsibilities
  • Sales & Customer Engagement:
  • Conduct in-home consultations with prospective customers throughout the Greater Victoria Area.
  • Build rapport with homeowners and assess their heating and cooling needs.
  • Present heat pump options and solutions clearly and confidently.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed proposals and quotes.
  • Follow up with leads and guide customers through the sales process to close deals.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Technical & Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain a working knowledge of heat pump systems, rebates, and local energy efficiency programs (e.g., CleanBC, federal rebates).
  • Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Liaise with installation and service teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative & Reporting:
  • Use CRM software to manage leads, opportunities, and customer communications.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on sales activity and results.
  • Coordinate schedules and client appointments independently.
