Columba Catholic College, Charters Towers is seeking an experienced and dedicated Residential Houseparent for the girls/boys Boarding Facilities. This is a casual position will commence on Monday 21 July 2025 and will complete 38 hours per week during school terms.
The Residential Houseparent is a member of a team appointed to act in a pastoral/supervisory role of residents in a residential situation. The team is a group of people with a high degree of interdependence geared towards the achievement of the goal of caring for those in their charge. The quality of care will be enhanced when Residential Houseparent’s have a high degree of confidence and trust in each other; are highly motivated to abide by the values of the College; and, at all times, will do what he or she reasonably can to help create an atmosphere of acceptance, understanding and respect.
