RESIDENTIAL HVAC INSTALL TECHNICIAN

Jetstream Mechanical is searching for an experienced Residential HVAC Install Technician to serve the Washtenaw County, Michigan area. If you are searching for a full-time technician role near Ann Arbor, Michigan please let us know!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • EPA Universal certified.
  • NATE certifications preferred.
  • Customer service experience with strong people skills.
  • Applicants must have a current driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record, must be insurable to drive to and from assigned jobs.
  • Able to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Former installation and boiler experience.
  • Willingness to interface with clients and effectively communicate service/project outcomes and recommendations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 years’ experience desired.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings preferred.
  • Applicants must have a current driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to lift or carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
  • The physical ability to bend, squat, kneel, grasp, manipulate hand and power tools.
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment background screen.
  • Competitive hourly compensation depending on experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair various makes and models of HVAC equipment.
  • Refrigerant repairs and compressor replacements.
  • Repair and maintain thermostats, air filters, blower fans, belts, and bearings.
  • Maintain personal tools according to company guidelines.
  • Have a commitment to a high level of customer service.
