We are pleased to share an internal opportunity for the role of Residential Leasing Administrator within our Cape Town team.
This position is ideal for a dynamic and detail-oriented team member who is passionate about delivering excellent service. The role involves overseeing the full leasing process, handling key administrative tasks, providing outstanding support to potential and current residents, and coordinating with various departments to maintain high occupancy levels and resident satisfaction.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric Certificate).
  • Proficient in written and spoken communication in at least two languages.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with the Residential Letting Act and the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

Responsibilities
  • Promote available units with updated photos across all social media platforms.
  • Create pamphlets and distribute them to agents for further dissemination.
  • Assist agents in arranging property viewings for potential tenants.
  • Address and resolve queries related to leasing and rentals.
  • Handle application procedures, including credit checks, employment verification, drafting lease agreements, and setting up new accounts in Unibrowse.
  • Forward completed applications to property owners for approval.
  • Inform successful applicants and provide them with a billing schedule upon approval.
  • Open new accounts once funds are received and ensure the lease agreement is signed by the agent.
  • Remove property ads once all necessary documents and funds are received.
  • Maintain and update the weekly spreadsheet with current leasing information.
  • Upload all relevant documents (applications, leases, ingoing inspections) and send the spreadsheet to the Manager for commission verification.
  • Provide general assistance within the department as needed.
  • Execute email campaigns to generate new business leads.
  • Respond to queries promptly while the agent is on the road.
