Rank Group is currently seeking a Residential Leasing Coordinator(12-month term position). Reporting to the Senior VP, Leasing, this role oversees the leasing and tenant experience for one of our newest residential buildings, One77 (https://one77.ca/).
While previous residential property management experience is a strong asset, we are willing to train motivated individuals looking to gain experience in the field of real estate or property management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Post-graduate degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Commerce, Business Administration, Real Estate, etc.). Equivalent experience may be accepted.
  • Previous residential property management experience would be considered a strong asset, but is not required.
  • Familiarity with lease agreements would be an asset, but not required.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Professional and friendly demeanour – proven experience providing strong customer service.
  • Proven ability to problem solve to resolve issues.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Act as key point of contact for tenant relations to ensure a seamless move-in transition and quality day-to-day experience
  • Handle inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle tenancy board matters in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with leasing initiatives, including responding to prospective tenant inquiries, conducting property viewings, and preparing lease agreements.
  • Review applications, conduct background and credit checks, and verify references.
  • Provide oversight and support to onsite building manager.
  • Oversee the move-in and move-out process, including inspections and documentation.
  • Interact with property management team as required to coordinate maintenance, repairs, move-ins, etc.
  • Collaborate with construction team as building transitions from construction to fully operational.
  • Act as liaison between onsite building team and Senior VP Leasing.
  • Other duties as may be required.
