Description

As a Leasing & Resident Experience Summer Student, you will support the day-to-day leasing and tenant coordination activities across the residential portfolio. You will work alongside the leasing and operations teams to market available units, coordinate tours, support lease administration, and help ensure a high-quality resident experience. This role is fast-paced and highly interactive—you’ll be at the front line of how residents experience our buildings, from first inquiry to move-in. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS As a summer student you could work on projects pertaining to: Leasing & Vacancy Support * Responding to inquiries regarding available units via phone, email, and online platforms * Scheduling and assisting with unit tours and showings * Supporting processing of rental applications, including basic screening and documentation * Assisting in preparation and coordination of lease agreements Resident Experience & Coordination * Supporting coordination of move-ins and move-outs with building operations * Assisting in responding to tenant inquiries and maintenance requests * Helping ensure tenants understand and comply with lease terms and building policies * Maintaining a high level of responsiveness and professionalism in all tenant interactions System & Data Management * Entering and maintain leasing and tenant information in Yardi Voyager * Ensuring accuracy and completeness of tenant records and documentation * Supporting tracking of lease expiries and renewal timelines Marketing & Market Awareness * Maintaining and updating rental listings across platforms (Rentfaster, Kijiji, etc.) * Assisting in monitoring competitor pricing and market conditions * Supporting basic analysis of rental rates and occupancy trends

Responsibilities

This role involves supporting daily leasing and tenant coordination activities across the residential portfolio, including marketing available units and coordinating tours. The student will also assist with lease administration and ensuring a high-quality resident experience from initial inquiry through move-in.
