Description

We have a position available with Limestone Property Management, under our Maintenance Division. This division supports our property management team by providing general repairs and maintenance to our properties at LPM and to other clients. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician who will meet our high standards of service and provide both interior and exterior work.

This position will report to our Belleville office.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • General carpentry
  • Light plumbing and light electrical
  • Exterior work (i.e. concrete, downspouts, caulking, flashing, siding, roofing)
  • Drywall, patching, sanding, painting
  • Bathroom renovations
  • Flooring: laminate, tiling, and vinyl installation
  • Doors and window repair
  • Written and verbal communication skill
  • Hold a valid ‘G’ driver’s license

DESIRED WORK EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the repairs/maintenance field, construction, or related
  • Proficiency in building maintenance, preferably in a residential/commercial and tenant environment
  • Working knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Plumbing experience an asset
  • Carpentry license an asset

Education:

  • High School and/or Secondary school diploma

This position will require you to be able to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring organizational skills are a priority.
Hours of Work: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM (Monday – Friday).
The hourly rate will be based on skill and experience.
