Exciting things are happening at Catholic Healthcare! We’ve grown to 5,500+ employees and in 2024 we celebrated our 30th year of providing care. Our Mission is to promote the dignity, life and spirituality of older people through connected and inclusive communities.
We are currently seeking an experienced and empathetic leader to join us as the Residential Manager at Villa Maria Unanderra, our 96-bed home with a long-standing reputation for quality care and community connection.
This rare opportunity has arisen following the retirement of our long-serving manager. You’ll be stepping into a well-established and high-functioning service, supported by a cohesive and passionate team.
About the Role
As the Residential Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of Villa Maria Unanderra. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards of care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a positive and inclusive workplace culture. With a full master roster already in place, you’ll have the foundation to focus on strategic leadership, continuous improvement, and engagement with residents, families, and the wider community.
You’ll be supported by an experienced leadership team including two Care Managers, an Administration Manager, and a dedicated group of nurses and care employees. In addition, you’ll have access to strong regional and corporate support functions covering HR, recruitment, and operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional, relationship centred care
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements
  • Lead operational planning, budgeting, and resource management
  • Champion continuous improvement across clinical care, resident wellbeing, and service delivery
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with residents, families, staff, and the local community

About You

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent tertiary qualification
  • Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, AN-ACC funding, and quality standards
  • Demonstrated experience in leading aged care operations, including workforce and financial management
  • Collaborative, values-driven leadership style with outstanding communication skills

Why Join Catholic Healthcare?

  • A competitive salary and access to generous not-for-profit salary packaging
  • 7 additional paid leave days each year, including 6 days of family leave

  • Paid parental leave and long service leave available after just five years
  • Join a values-driven organisation with a strong sense of purpose
  • A welcoming and inclusive workplace that celebrates diversity and embraces people of all backgrounds and faiths
