Job Details Job Location: Headquarters - Chicago, IL 60608 Salary Range: $17.50 - $19.00 Hourly Job Shift: Any SUMMARY: Provide general support to and oversight of clients, enforce program procedures, and ensure living areas are maintained. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor all assigned program clients and provide general support. Alert relevant Case Managers and Program Supervisors about clients who are struggling or in distress. Respond to client personal and interpersonal issues in a professional manner using approved de-escalation techniques. Assist new clients with move-in and program onboarding. Maintain log of residents’ entry and exit from the facility. Conduct floor walk-throughs at designated intervals. Conduct room checks to monitor client well-being and ensure clients are following program protocols. Distribute client medication, monitor client self-medication, and maintain medication log. Complete daily shift reports and other documentation, as required. Monitor clients during mealtimes to ensure assigned dining schedules are observed. Escort clients throughout the facility, as required. Administer scheduled and random drug screening, as required. Maintain client confidentiality according to HIPAA and organization requirements. QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree preferred. - One or more years of experience in social services, healthcare, security, or related field preferred. - Knowledge of general principles and approaches for providing services to clients experiencing housing insecurity, substance addiction, interpersonal trauma, and criminal justice involvement Ability to: Maintain professional composure in emotional and complex situations. Maintain organized workspace and documentation. Communicate information and ideas in writing in a clear and concise manner. Perform work duties with limited supervision. Work in an environment with frequent periods of moderate to loud noise. Stand and sit for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer skills required: Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); and Keyboarding. Other skills required: 3+ years of case management experience with Rapid Rehousing, Housing First, or other federal housing program preferred. Knowledge of general principles and approaches for providing services to individuals and families experiencing housing insecurity, substance addiction, interpersonal trauma, and criminal justice involvement. Knowledge of HUD programs, resources, opportunities, and regulations. Knowledge of local community programs, resources, opportunities, and regulations.
