Job Description:
Position Purpose summary:
The Residential Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of The Salvation Army Windsor Centre of Hope Housing Residential Programs and. He/She is responsible to give oversight to all the Housing Residential Programs ensuring that program services are carried out in an effective and efficient manner in keeping with The Salvation Army guidelines and policies. He/SheThe Residential Program Manager also ensures that resources of the department are being used to their greatest potential in the implementation of The Salvation Army’s mission.
Accountabilities:
General
Ensure that all procedures, rules, and guidelines for the safety and security of clients and staff are enforced impartially.
Program
Develop, administer, and direct The Salvation Army Windsor Centre of Hope residential housing programs which provide services to men and women, ages 16 years and up.
Administration
Ensure that shift documentation and client/case management files are properly maintained.
Human Resources
Identify job vacancies and follow The Salvation Army hiring procedures, directly involve the process of hiring, orientation, and employee development; provide ongoing, consistent coaching, performance feedback, and manage the evaluation of Residential Programs’ staffworkers and residential.
Understand and comply with Union Collective Agreement.
Health and Safety
Ensure safety of staff, volunteers, and clients, i.e., clear fire exits, no obstacles inside/outside office, clean spillage; ensure that the property is always secured.
Perform other position related duties as required.
