REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

1.1 Qualification as Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.
1.2 Strong academics, including undergraduate degree level qualification.
1.3 Experience in working with professional partnerships and LLPs.
1.4 Fee earning experience.
1.5 Experience in working within residential property.
1.6 Ability to use IT including desktop and case management systems.
1.7 Good communication skills, both written and oral.
1.8 Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
1.9 Good organisational skills.
2. Main responsibilities
2.1 Ensuring that the management of files and working practices within Residential Property are in accordance with the firms published Policies, Plans and Procedures.
2.2 To ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and on costs.
2.3 Carry out duties in a professional and pleasant manner, comply with relevant professional standards and any requirement set by relevant regulators including the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
2.4 To act with good judgement, integrity and honesty at all times in the client’s best interest.
2.5 To ensure the confidentiality and security of all of the firm’s and client documentation and information.
2.6 In close liaison with the cashier, to have overall responsibility for credit control on own matters.
2.7 To supervise, support and develop immediate support staff.
2.8 Maintain clear and precise communications with other personnel of the firm.
2.9 Ensure good working relationships with external institutions and organisations.
2.10 Develop and maintain the competencies necessary to provide a proper standard of service to clients and maintain a record of professional development.
