WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
· Previous experience working in residential conveyancing
· A law degree, CILEX, or equivalent legal qualification (desirable but not essential)
· Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and reviewing documents
· Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
You will provide high-quality support to the residential property team, assisting fee earners with a broad range of conveyancing matters. The role is varied and will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
· Assisting with all aspects of residential property transactions, from instruction through to post-completion
· Drafting contracts, transfers, and other legal documents under supervision
· Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
· Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
· Conducting searches and reviewing title documentation
· Managing case files and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
· Providing administrative support to fee earners and the wider team
