The successful candidate will ideally have 2+ years’ PQE and a proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently, whilst also contributing to the team’s growth and reputation.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will independently manage a broad caseload of residential property matters, including:

• Drafting agreements, deeds, leases and contracts.
• Handling residential sales, purchases, leasehold transactions, Transfers of Equity, shared ownership, and lease extensions.
• Working closely with the Partner in Charge, assisting the wider team when required.
• Managing billing in line with agreed targets and ensuring proper financial control of work in progress, billing and cash collection.
• Performing fee-earning work accurately, reliably and in accordance with CQS, AML policies, and risk management procedures.
• Negotiating effectively on behalf of clients.
• Networking and developing new business opportunities, retaining and expanding existing client relationships.
• Supporting marketing initiatives and contributing to the growth of the team.
• Maintaining strong IT and case management skills to support efficient working.
• Travelling to other offices and client sites as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive with 2+ years’ PQE in residential property.
• Strong technical expertise across a broad range of residential matters.
• Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality client service in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence in business development and networking to generate new work.
• A collaborative team player with leadership, mentoring, or supervisory potential.
• IT proficient, with experience using case management systems and modern legal practice tools.
