My client, a leading Legal 500 law firm are seeking an experienced Senior Associate / Associate Director to join their Residential Property team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor, Associate, or Senior Associate, depending on your experience, to manage your own caseload and further develop your career within a highly respected and growing team.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Previous experience managing a residential property caseload
  • Qualified fee earner with at least 5 years PQE
  • Proven ability to manage your own files and delegate work to others
  • Strong client management skills, with a focus on delivering excellent service
  • Proactive approach to business development and growing client networks

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of residential property files, ensuring efficient handling of cases and transactions
  • Build strong relationships with clients, managing their expectations on options, outcomes, risks, and timelines
  • Scope fees for existing clients and contribute to business growth by expanding internal and external networks of clients, intermediaries, and contacts
  • Enhance personal and department profiles through networking events, writing publications, and speaking at seminars
  • Take responsibility for delegated projects, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining a high standard of work
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members through technical advice and mentorship
  • Maintain clear communication with both senior and junior team members
  • Track progress against personal KPIs and contribute to meeting department targets
  • Support budget management for client matters and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Stay up to date with changes in the legal sector, applying relevant developments to improve service delivery
