Job Title: Luxury Residential Security Officer Company: IronRock Security Location: Syracuse, NY Pay Rate: $17.50-18.50/hour Schedule: All shifts Position Overview: IronRock Security is seeking a reliable and experienced Security Officer to oversee security operations for a luxury residential complex near Downtown Syracuse, NY. This role requires a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and prior experience with access control. The guard will help ensure site coverage, support fellow officers, and maintain a safe environment for staff and customers. This is a hands-on role with opportunities for growth within IronRock Security. Responsibilities: Manage and monitor access control points Conduct regular patrols of the residential property Perform occasional hourly patrols as needed Write clear incident and daily activity reports Support scheduling coordination and communicate staffing needs Maintain a professional and customer-friendly presence Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies appropriately Requirements: 2+ years security experience required NY Guard Card Valid driver's license Strong communication and report-writing skills Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Reliable means of transportation Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Compensation & Benefits: $17.50-18.50/hour Full-time and part-time opportunities available Medical insurance available to full-time employees working 30+ hours IronRock pays 50% of the employee-only medical premium Benefits begin the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment Dental & Vision insurance available (company contributes to employee rate) 401(k) available after 1 year of employment IronRock matches 10% of employee contributions Supportive team environment and advancement opportunities To Apply: Submit your resume with relevant security and access control experience.
