ABOUT THE ROLE:

SHIFT PATTERN - 4 On 4 Off Rolling Rota Night Shift
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of a residential facility, ensuring the wellbeing of residents and staff through regular patrols, curfew enforcement, and CCTV monitoring. You will play a vital part in managing high-risk individuals, responding to incidents professionally, and upholding health and safety standards. This position requires strong communication and customer service skills, a high level of diligence, and the ability to work effectively in a sensitive and secure environment.

AS PART OF YOUR ROLE, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Undertake regular inspections and patrols of the building, including patrols of common areas in accordance with local procedures.
  • Ensure that the building is locked and secure during curfew periods and confirm the presence and wellbeing of residents overnight.
  • Support a safe working environment for staff, residents, and visitors by adhering to Health and Safety legislation, policies and procedures, and reporting any damage/defects occurred.
  • Monitor the behaviour of high-risk residents and respond appropriately to abusive or aggressive behaviour.
  • Monitor CCTV systems as required and take responsibility for all internal security, including access control.
