Description
Russell Landscape is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Horticulture Spray Technician to join our team. This role will focus primarily on residential properties but may also support commercial projects as needed. The Spray Technician will be responsible for the safe and effective application of pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and other horticultural treatments to ensure the health and appearance of client landscapes. Key Responsibilities: * Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers according to company standards and state regulations. * Inspect trees, shrubs, turf, and plants to diagnose pest, disease, or nutrient issues. * Safely operate and maintain spray equipment, trucks, and tools. * Maintain accurate records of treatments performed, products used, and service dates. * Provide professional and courteous service to residential and commercial clients. * Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to protect yourself, clients, and the environment. * Assist in other landscape maintenance tasks as needed. Qualifications: * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required). * Georgia Category 24 Commercial Pesticide Applicator License preferred, but not required (must be willing to obtain). * Prior experience in horticulture, landscaping, turf management, or related field preferred. * Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and apply treatments safely. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
