We aim to have a leadership and workforce that is reflective of the communities we work in partnership with.   Benefits Generous Paid Time Off; up to 12 paid holidays & floating holidays per year; medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; 403b with employer matching and health savings accounts; wellness programs, healthy lifestyle incentives and employee assistance programs   Compensation $21.25 - $23.00 per hour * Offers based on education and years of relevant experience   Hours/Schedule Full-Time Evening and weekend availaility   Professional Development Opportunities Gateway Longview has a strong investment in developing the future leaders of the organization through trainings, advancement opportunities, and a formal leadership pipeline.   Position Specific Duties/Responsibilities * Work directly with Youth Care Professionals and other program areas to ensure continuity of therapeutic services and model correct treatment modalities * Effectively respond to, oversee, and assist in all conflict resolution situations to ensure the safety of youth and staff through the proper use of approved intervention techniques.  Provide appropriate and timely debriefing of crisis situations with staff and youth including the completion of required paperwork utilizing appropriate terminology * Create a professional work environment through direct supervision of Youth Care Professionals and the effective use of role modeling, documented coaching sessions and ongoing trainings. Participate in Information Gathering Interviews (IGIs) with Youth Care Professionals and utilize effective disciplinary actions when necessary to ensure accountability for job expectations * Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner * Manage all aspects of medication management including the packing and administration of medication in absence of nursing staff and the completion of required documentation * Provide effective support and relief to staff by offering, granting, and covering breaks or late arrivals within the units when necessary to maintain proper client to staff ratios. Oversee On Call responsibilities in the absence of the Program Manager to ensure proper staffing levels at all times * Assist direct care staff in teaching and reinforcing youth coping skills for use in daily life and the community. * Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Must have excellent communication and customer service skills * Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented * Ability to work independently and be an enthusiastic team player * Ability to utilize physical restraints in accordance with safety protocols youth after successful completion of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training * Ability to work effectively with clients, staff, families, and community contacts Required Qualifications * High School Diploma and/or GED * 1 year relevant experience * 6 months of supervisory experience * Valid NYS Driver’s License   We want to emphasize that the preferred qualifications are not required and that we are committed to helping our future colleagues develop these preferred skills.
