Job title: Residential Support Worker Salary: £28,100 per annum (depending on experience and qualification) - plus an opportunity to earn an additional £4,200 per annum based on an average of 7 sleep-ins per month Location: Rhyl Contract/Hours: Permanent Full-Time 37 Hrs per week. This will include supporting in the absence of the Registered Manager or Team Leader, supervisions of staff, case managing and assisting in the development of the service.   What you do could make a difference  * Lead and supervise a team of support workers during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and effective teamwork. * Conduct regular staff supervisions, offering guidance, support, and performance feedback to foster professional development and high-quality care. * Manage and oversee individual cases, ensuring care plans are followed and regularly reviewed to meet the evolving needs of the children and young people. * Assist in service development, contributing ideas and initiatives to enhance the quality of care and support provided.   Let’s talk about you  * Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care children and young people (or recognised equivalent) or currently working towards * Experience of shift leading a team of support workers * Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns as agreed via the rolling rota.  * Experience and training in safeguarding * Experience of developing tailored care plans     Why Action for Children?  Every child should have a loving home, food, warmth, the chance to grow and learn - the support to cope with life’s challenges.
