This is a great opportunity to get your ‘foot in the door’ and allows you to explore the field of Social Care and decide if it’s the right fit for you, whilst gaining practical experience. You’ll create a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to grow and develop, ensuring wellbeing is prioritised by delivering personalised care, guidance and advocacy. About the service Ty Wyth is an established, purpose built long-term solo placement, for one young person, who requires support with their physical disability. The service provides support to the young person up to the age of 18 years old. Our model will provide an environment where they will receive positive experiences of reliable, consistent parenting through providing specific and structured care, with very clear consistent boundaries. How you'll help to create brighter futures As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll be assuming responsibility for the personal care and daily routines of the young individual, providing support with personal hygiene, communication, administering of medication and ensuring the safeguarding of our young people by accurate recording and reporting.
