We’re seeking someone who is not only skilled but also shares our values of compassion, respect, and dedication. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed in this role:

  • 1 year of experience in a similar role or working with youth.
  • A valid driver’s license (required).
  • CPR and First Aid certification (required).
  • ASSIST and CPI training (considered an asset).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A caring and empathetic nature, with the ability to build trust and rapport.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Residential Support Worker and Respite Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting youth in their daily lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a safe and caring environment for youth.
  • Supporting daily routines, including meal preparation, activities, and personal care.
  • Assisting with emotional and behavioral support to foster growth and resilience.
  • Maintaining clear and respectful communication with youth, families, and team members.
  • Ensuring the residence is clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Responding effectively to crisis situations when necessary.
