Queens County Residential Services is a non-profit organization that has openings for casual positions available for individuals looking to support adults with intellectual disabilities in daily living, and the development of life skills in a caring and nurturing environment. Supplement your income by working flexible hours including a combination of days, evenings, weekends and overnights, and based on your availability to work, either a few hours or up to 48 hours a week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideal candidates will have post-secondary training from a recognised community college program or currently enrolled in such a program such as:
- Human Services

Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate care and support to residents in a residential setting.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents’ health conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans.
  • Utilize First Aid and NVCI techniques as needed to ensure the safety of residents.
    Job Type: Casual
    Pay: $22.07 per hour
